Board Profile

The inaugural board consists of 6 Australians, and 2 international members from the US and New Zealand.  To get to this place, the interim board also consisted of Laurie Besant from NSW, Australia who stepped back to help develop the NSW Charter.  As the organisation grows it is our hope to truly develop as an international board and to support the development of local and regional charters or associations.

Treasurer

PetaStudentProfilePeta Blood
New South Wales, Australia

Peta is one of the co-founders of RPI, having teamed up with Marg Thorsborne to develop a professional member association after many years of seeing the need to support practice and practitioners.

Peta first came to restorative justice through her work with the New South Wales Police Service.  Working at the serious end of practice with police, criminal and workplace matters, she became convinced that the focus needed to be at the preventive end of practice.  As a result, Peta works almost exclusively with schools throughout Australia, Asia and the Pacific Region.  She has a particular interest in cultural change and developing healthy workplace environments.  Peta is based in Sydney, Australia.
